From Moringa Leaf to Seed Oil
Moringa oleifera is a versatile tree valued for its leaves & seed pods. Our farmers pick mature green leaves in the morning to avoid excess sunlight. They’re then washed & dried at low temperatures, helping maintain the quality of our Moringa powder, capsules & caffeine-free leaf tea. We harvest the seed pods only when ripe, then remove the seeds & cold-press them to produce our pure Moringa seed oil.
Each offers a different way to enjoy Moringa, making it easy to choose the product that best suits your needs & routine.
Farm-Direct Moringa from Indonesia
We source our Moringa directly from a farm in Indonesia, where the trees grow in naturally rich volcanic soil. For more than a decade, we’ve worked closely with the farmers who grow our Moringa. We've built strong relationships with people who understand how best to grow, harvest & prepare it.
We visit the farm regularly to see the growing & production process firsthand, helping us maintain the quality & consistency we expect from every harvest.
What to Look for When Buying Moringa
Not all Moringa is the same quality. Where the trees grow & how the leaves are harvested, dried & processed greatly influence the product’s integrity.
We buy Moringa powder & oil from a trusted small-scale farm. Larger producers often mix leaves from different locations during processing, which can compromise quality & consistency.
When comparing Moringa products, look for a trusted supplier with a transparent supply chain. A specialist Moringa shop offering powder, capsules, leaf tea & seed oil can provide more product knowledge & choice, giving you greater confidence when buying Moringa.

Moringa oleifera FAQs
Where can I buy Moringa in Australia?
Moringa can be difficult to buy from supermarkets, pharmacies & health food stores in Australia. The best place to buy Moringa products in Australia is through specialist health stores or online shops.
Why buy Moringa online in Australia?
Buying Moringa online gives you access to more products & suppliers, although quality, price & product type can vary considerably. It also gives you more opportunity to research where the Moringa comes from, how it was produced & how the product is classified before you buy.
Can you buy Moringa in stores in Australia?
Buying Moringa in Australia is challenging because Moringa oleifera leaf, immature seed pods & seed oil cannot currently be sold as foods or food ingredients. FSANZ rejected an application to permit these forms as novel foods in November 2025, limiting how Moringa products can legally be sold in Australia.
What is the best Moringa to buy in Australia?
The best Moringa to buy depends on what you’re looking for. Quality, traceability & transparency are good starting points when comparing Moringa products in Australia, along with choosing a supplier that clearly explains what you’re buying.
Are all Moringa products the same?
No. When buying Moringa, check the ingredients, origin, processing method, certifications & amount of Moringa in the product. It’s also important to know whether you’re buying whole-leaf Moringa or an extract, as these can be significantly different products.
Why do Moringa prices vary so much?
Moringa prices can vary considerably between sellers. Some work directly with the farmers who grow & produce their Moringa products, while others simply buy a finished product to resell. A bigger brand or higher price doesn’t necessarily mean better Moringa. Look beyond the marketing & consider how closely connected the brand is to the Moringa they’re selling.
What is the best value Moringa?
Check the grams of Moringa per serving, total grams in the pack & price per gram. A product recommending two capsules per day may appear cheaper, but it may simply provide less Moringa per serving. Recommended serving sizes can vary considerably between products, so compare the actual amount of Moringa you’re getting rather than the number of capsules alone.
Which Moringa is best?
No single Moringa product is best for everyone. Moringa powder, capsules & tea are all made from Moringa leaves, while Moringa oil comes from the seeds. The right choice depends on how you plan to use it & what you’re looking for from Moringa.
Is Moringa powder or capsules better?
Moringa powder & capsules can both provide whole-leaf Moringa, but in different ways. Powder gives you more flexibility in how much you use, while capsules offer a convenient, pre-measured option.
Whole-leaf Moringa or Moringa extract?
Whole-leaf Moringa contains the pure leaf in its natural proportions. Its quality depends heavily on how well the Moringa is grown & processed. Extracts are different, using additional processing to concentrate particular plant compounds.
Is Moringa extract stronger?
Moringa extracts can be more concentrated than whole-leaf Moringa, sometimes allowing for a smaller serving size. However, more concentrated doesn’t necessarily mean better. An extract is a different type of Moringa product, not automatically a superior one.
How do I know if Moringa is whole leaf or extract?
Check the ingredients. Look for Moringa leaf or Moringa leaf powder for whole-leaf products. Extract products should identify Moringa extract and may also show an extract ratio or concentration.
Where is the best Moringa grown?
Moringa thrives in warm tropical climates, making Indonesia naturally suited to growing it. Our Moringa grows in rich volcanic soil, away from heavily populated areas, where farmers have generations of experience growing & using the plant. In Indonesia, Moringa is known as kelor & has a long history in traditional food & culture.
There’s even an Indonesian saying, “The world is not as wide as a Moringa leaf,” reflecting how deeply Moringa is woven into Indonesian culture.
Is Moringa from India or Indonesia better?
Moringa originated in India, which remains one of the world’s largest producers. But when buying Moringa, bigger doesn’t necessarily mean better. We chose Indonesia because it allows us to work directly with one small farm, giving us a much closer connection to where our Moringa comes from & how it’s produced.
Is Moringa grown in Australia?
Yes. Australian-grown Moringa is mainly produced in the warmer northern parts of the country, where the climate suits the tree best and some commercial farms operate. You can also grow your own Moringa tree at home, although it doesn’t like cooler winters and will grow more seasonally in southern Australia.
Does Moringa have side effects?
Some people can be sensitive or allergic to Moringa. Possible Moringa side effects may include nausea, stomach discomfort or digestive upset. If you're concerned about how a Moringa product may affect you, speak with a healthcare professional.
Who should avoid Moringa?
If you’re pregnant, breastfeeding, taking prescription medication or managing a chronic health condition, speak with a supportive healthcare professional before using Moringa. Because Moringa may affect how your body responds alongside certain medications, it’s important to have your health monitored if you’re using both. Your healthcare professional can then make any medication changes if they’re needed.
Is freeze-dried Moringa better?
Not necessarily. Freeze-drying can preserve some heat-sensitive nutrients, but research does not show that freeze-dried Moringa is automatically a better-quality product. It can also be used to justify a higher price, so the drying method alone shouldn’t be taken as proof of superior Moringa.
Does drying Moringa reduce nutrients?
It can. Some nutrients & plant compounds are sensitive to high temperatures, direct sunlight & long drying times. Controlled low-temperature drying with good airflow helps remove moisture while preserving more of the Moringa leaf’s natural colour, flavour & plant compounds.
Is organic Moringa better?
Organic growing can be a strong positive when choosing Moringa for personal use. Moringa is naturally a hardy, drought-tolerant tree that grows well in the right climate, so you can grow it with relatively few inputs. Organic Moringa is grown under standards that restrict the use of synthetic pesticides & fertilisers, allowing more of the focus to remain on the soil, climate & farming itself.
Does Moringa need to be certified organic?
Organic certification can provide useful independent assurance, but a certificate doesn’t replace traceability. It’s still worth knowing where the Moringa comes from, who grows it & how closely the supplier is connected to the farm producing it.
