The Founding Director of Empathy Herbal
In 2005, amidst the chaos of the London bombings, feeling of empathy compelled me to act and changed everything.
A decade later, a trip to London led to an opportunity in Indonesia, where I immersed myself in traditional remedies and learned the power of JAMU plant medicines. Inspired by my recovery journey and compassionate nature, I founded Empathy Herbal.

The growth of Empathy Herbal has been a journey fueled by dedication and passion. It all began in 2018 when Jimmy started attending farmers’ markets in the Noosa area, initially as a side project. However, as the COVID-19 pandemic swept the globe, Jimmy transitioned to working full-time for Empathy Herbal, pouring his heart into building the business and its online presence.
In 2020, a significant milestone was reached when Jimmy met his partner, Amber, who joined forces with him to further develop and expand the business. Their combined efforts brought fresh energy and perspective to Empathy Herbal’s mission. Fast forward to 2023, Jimmy’s mom joined the team, bringing her expertise and creativity to the table by crafting unique recipes for the website.
